Data Collection
Lock In Mode does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. No accounts, no tracking, no data collection. Your blocklist and usage data never leave your device.
What Data Is Stored
The extension stores your blocklist, usage statistics, timer settings, and scheduled rules locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This data is only accessible to the extension and is never sent to any external server.
Permissions
The extension requests the following permissions:
- activeTab / tabs — to detect the current site and manage tab redirects
- storage — to save your blocklist, settings, and usage data locally in Chrome
- alarms — to power the Pomodoro timer and scheduled blocking rules
- webNavigation — to intercept navigation to blocked sites and redirect them
Third-Party Services
Lock In Mode does not communicate with any external services. The extension runs entirely in your browser with no analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party integrations.
